Causes and reasons for the spread of Zika virus

Zika Virus
Zika virus belongs to family Flaviviridae, infection is generally caused by mosquito bites usually at day time. Because of some clinical expression it has been misguided with chikungunya and Dengue. Severe neurological complications such as Guillain-Barresyndrome, congenital malformations suspected to be linked with Zika virus. Researches should focus on zika virus as it became a global emergency because it is linked with congenital birth defects to infect and till now no effective treatment or vaccine is available. WHO/PAHO encourages the country that does clinical management and community assurance strategies to reduce the transmission of the virus.
