Forest Management techniques to combat Climate Change

forest research open access impact factor

Forests are subjected to several ecological conditions like heat, radiation, heavy rainfall and herbivores animal trespassing. This would seriously affect the seedling process as the seed may turn in vain or perish so that the maintenance of ecological balance would become tough.

The Mediterranean basin in Europe is worst affected due to climate change where the raise in temperature has affected plant establishment. Plants and the ecology of the affected regions generally adapt to the changed conditions and exhibit certain modifications. Understanding the nature’s law and effective forest management techniques would restore the ecological balance of the region.
