Genomics in Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s

Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Diseases
Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s are neurodegenerative diseases. The difference in the pathogenesis was observedbased on genomic data. In previous study transcriptional and tumour suppression were the reasons for the pathogenesis in Alzheimer’s. But in the latest genomic up-stream analysis revealed that it is due to dysfuntion of cellcycle. Neither of the reasons was responsible for the pathogenesis in Parkinson’s, it is because of RNA metabolism and misflofed proteins. In down regulation analysis, pathogenesis in Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s happens due to the protein metabolism. Thus the genomics plays a major role in the effective diagnosis and treatment.
